Curbside Pickup Service Policy and Procedures
Although your library
is open to the public four days per week, we have two days per week dedicated
to curbside service for those patrons who prefer. Patrons may also make use of
curbside service any day the library is open to the public as well.
Curbside service only hours:
Tuesday and Wednesday (10-1pm & 2-5pm)
Follow two easy steps to collect materials from the Grafton Public Library pick-up bins, located on the front porch of the library. These bins can be accessed 24/7.

How
will I know my holds area ready for pickup?
You will receive a phone call or email from the librarian at the contact
information on your library account.
How
do I return materials?
Return your items in the outdoor wooden book drop to the left of the front
door. Please do not put your book returns in the grey plastic curbside pick-up
bins.
Do
I need a library card?
Yes, patrons must have a Grafton Public Library card to use curbside
pickup. If you do not have a regular library card, call or email the library to
request a library card.
What if I have mobility issues?
The librarian will make other accommodations for you, including placing items
on the handicapped ramp, in the trunk of your car or in another easily
accessible place. Please call us before you arrive to request this
accommodation.
What
materials are available for pickup?
All physical materials currently on the shelf are available for pickup,
including books, DVDs, and audio CDs. Interlibrary loans (books from other
libraries) are not readily available at this time.
Can
staff look for specific items or provide reading suggestions?
Yes! Call the librarian at 802-843-2404 or email during hours of
operation.
May
I place a hold via telephone?
Yes, please call the library at 802-843-2404 during regular hours of
operation or leave a voice mail message.
What
are you doing to protect the safety of patrons and library staff?
The contactless curbside pickup model we are using provides maximum social
distancing for the safety of our patrons and our staff.
